Restoration of Suadiye Mosque

Restoration of Suadiye Mosque

Suadiye Mosque, located in Suadiye, Kadıköy, was built in 1905 by the Minister of Finance Reşat Paşa in the name of his deceased daughter Suad Hanım during the reign of Abdülhamid II.

Suadiye Mosque was built on a square plan with a single dome. Its exterior and minaret are made of Maltese stone. Its interior walls are covered with tiles, and the insides of the windows and the lower part of the waist are made of stuk plaster. The mihrab, pulpit and podium are made of marble. The restoration work of this mosque, which has a single minaret and a single balcony, was started by us in 2019 and the work was completed in 2022 and opened for worship.
